All Big Ten Nomination Video
This nomination video highlights my journey as a walk-on turned team leader for Wisconsin Badgers Cheerleading Team. In this piece, I reflect on what leadership means to me. Motivating others, leading by example, and finding purpose in pushing myself beyond comfort zones. Cheerleading was a new sport for me, and stepping into a leadership role challenged me to grow both as an athlete and as a person. This project represents my dedication to resilience, team culture, and inspiring others through action.
Supporting Members Podcast
Supporting Members is a podcast I created to shed light on the realities of Division 1 Cheerleading. A sport that is often overlooked in collegiate athletics. What began as a quick five-minute interview transformed into a thirty-minute conversation unpacking mental blocks, stereotypes, intense schedules, and the fight for recognition. I aimed to build understanding and respect for cheerleaders’ experiences both on and off the sidelines. This project demonstrates how I use media to amplify voices and challenge assumptions within the sports community.
